Teaching and Research

Greg holds a Master of Engineering Studies (Structures) from the University of Queensland, Australia.  This study, included a thesis and published papers on the parametric design of grandstand and stadium roofs that was used in the early stages of the design of Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.

Greg Killen currently lectures design at the University of Queensland.  This includes:

• • Civil Design I, a capstone course for final year civil engineering students

  • Architectural Technology (Structures module) for 3rd year architectural students

  • Civil Design II + Advanced Architectural Technology, collaborative design

Greg has demonstrated his commitment to the development of future eminent engineers and architects on several levels beyond his teaching programs and was an invited speaker and panelist at the Carrick Engineering Futures Forum in 2008.
